Talented musicians, Dayna Sanerivi, a vocalist currently studying at The Christchurch Jazz School, and Sebastian Soldrzynski, an experienced jazz trumpet player originally from Poland are bringing the Ladies of Jazz to life at Lyttelton Harbour Lights Theatre.
With support from local musicians, Darren Pickering on keys, Nicholas Bosman on double bass and Michael Thompson on drums, the quintet are performing the most unforgettable songs from the repertoire of the greatest female Jazz vocalists of all times – Aretha Franklin, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Anita O’Day and Lena Horne.
