The YMCA Pitt Street has a new big hitting, crowd pulling sport under its belt, and 21 August bout is going to be a show that you cannot miss!

Will the fearsome Dead Wreckoning’s bruising blocks and loud screams lead them to another nail-biting victory'
Or will Mascara Massacre seek revenge on the win that was snatched from them in the final moments of their last match'
The Pirates are training hard and planning their strategies in the lead up to the big 21 August bout, and promise nothing but the best roller derby this country has ever seen. You better believe it!
So start getting your battle cries ready Auckland! Get crafty and start making a sign and costume for your favourite team! Spot prizes from Pirate City sponsors will be given away on the night – you don’t want to miss out!
With a keen mixture of hard-hitting sporty ladies, fun-filled half-time entertainment and cheap-as-chips food and drink, roller derby is fun for all the family. Still not convinced' Entry into this amazing bout will also garner you discounted entry to the massive afterparty at K’Road’s Whammy Bar; just follow the giant drum procession from YMCA’s doors
