UPRISING is back for August, with another killa line up.
KOLAB SOUNDSYSTEM with LIVE HORNS are a group hailing from Auckland. Their sound could best be described as a mix of Hip-Hop,Jazz,Funk,Rock.Dub The group’s musical influences include the likes of De La Soul,sa-ra, A Tribe Called Quest, J Dilla, The Pharcyde, and Outkast and they will be sharing the stage with some of NZs sort after artists..
SOLJAH currently touring their EP I am stoked to announce they are in Auckland for August 7th. SolJah are a five piece unit based in Kaipara and Auckland New Zealand, consisting of five heavy weight musicians who are creating waves across Aotearoa with their mesmerising live performances and ground stomping sound.
Heavy distorted riffs with rhythms that knock you off your feet, bouncy drum and bass to put you back on your feet, and tight vocal harmonies that drip with catchy melodies. While listening to Soljahs music you will discover an eclectic blend of influences.

Knights of the Dub Table, heading this way from the Hamilton shores after there EP release Tronic.. (if you aint heard it, I suggest you do) KOTDB remind me of the early DUB days, really bringing a sense of summer just around the corner... Playing along side some amazing names in the past and more recently Salmonella DUB S/S drawing some attention to themselves & they are gracing Auckland with what they have to offer..
Yebiisu NZs are one of New Zealands finest Reggae and Dub bands are climbing the ladder, leaving you in anticipation.. releasing their self titled EP last month, this talented 8 piece collective will be looking forward to filling your ears with goodness and making you move joints you never knew you could..
