Under The Radar and Rushmore are ecstatic to present:

LES SAVY FAV!

“Tim Harrington – bearded, Buddha-bellied frontman of Brooklyn hipster-metal-dance-thrash-punk wet dream Les Savy Fav – is God tonight.” - NME

Since their emergence from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1996, Les Savy Fav have been building a passionate following among musicians, fans, and critics the old fashioned way: by earning it. Fifteen years of musical experience has led them to arrive at a diamond-edged sound that is as upfront and direct as the quintet’s legendary live shows.

The band's unique approach to songwriting, not to mention the spastic and often unpredictable live performances of vocalist Tim Harrington, is pure art school; and it has hoisted Les Savy Fav into the same adventurous category as hard rocking 1990s acts like the Jesus Lizard, Brainiac, Six Finger Satellite and Jawbox.

Truly where Les Savy Fav set themselves apart is live: their shows are an intensely chaotic experience for band and audience alike. “Harrington is an insane dynamo, shrieking his lines into the mic, staggering around the stage, baiting the audience, swilling from a bottle of wine, wandering out into the crowd - it seems like there's very little he won't do in the interest of entertainment,” describes Popmatters aptly. In 2006, Australian audiences witnessed the Les Savy Fav insanity when the band visited for that year’s Laneway Festival...

…New Zealand missed out. Not this time.
