The fourth installment of Side Effect is upon us, at arguably the best venue, in the heart of Auckland city,
The Dogs Bollix. With -Fractured, Perditionist, Gate ,and a surprise or two.
Headlining are metal groove merchants Fractured (support act for Trivium and Whitechapel),with
Perditionist (recently supporting Nile) in brutal tow to bring you an assault on the senses,
and still keep that foot tapping! If that dosnt get that foot moving the attendance and
performance from Side Effects favourite lady Sahara Dessert will liquify the most metal of you..and newly announced dancer Trixxie Vixen - new to the burlesque scene, but quickly making an impression.
With support from post-metAl outfit Gate, combining psychedelic guitars, a guttural rhythm section and massive string arrangements, kicking the night off at 9pm.
In Fractureds 3 short years together they have self recorded and released both
a six track promotional EP in 2008 entitled Bleeding The Horror Inside, and in
2009 their eight track debut album No Fear Of Consequence which has received both
a good response with their fans and local air-play.
Perditionist is an original Black/Death metal band from Hibiscus coast just north
of Auckland, formed in early 2007 and have been carving their path supporting local an
international acts alike.
Gate strive to create music that evokes intense emotions; shifting between gliding
through a peaceful spacial jam to pummeling a giant chorus of 0s and 1s
