VENUE CHANGE: Please note this show will now be held at THE BASEMENT and is ALL AGES.

Freak Of The Week in conjunction with MUZAI Records bring together three label mates and a mistress on the side with the January 14th MUZAI Especiale.

Not content with four bands, MUZAI Records celebrates the release of China duo PAIRS EP by holding a show almost in their honor - having not been seized for potential Contact MT shipments, were giving copies away on the night with door entry. Seriously.

Heading into 2011 with their follow up to Im Sparklers ready to be released in February, Sherpas emboldened four piece (meaning theyve added a new guitarist in other words) are moving away from their power-pop origins to something more refined and dare we say it, mature. After all, theyre growing up - you cant blame them.

Kitsunegari pretty much have been owning the audiences who have come to see them. Its no longer a case also of being an all ages band - there are no gimmicks with this (super, cough) group at all; loud, aggressive and much more older than youd probably expect it to be.The Alles Gute... EP very much demonstrated that.

After being announced as a MUZAI band upon the release of Fuck These Bands 3 and solid outings at Nocturnal Collections #1 and Around The Wireless, Sidewalk Meeses pop twinged college rock (insert band referential points here) has been well received by audience and radio alike - Soda is teeth-rotting addictive and their live sets continue their overall charm offensive.

And were happy to have good friends (we dont fuck, we just talk) Milkshake Cowboyz join us on this merry occasion. The noisy, caustic two piece manage to be both challenging and yet as the same time charismatic with their no-bullshit war on the norm. Just dont call them avante-garde.
