HANDEL WITH CARE, Lautten Compagney (Germany)
Take this rare opportunity to delight in one of the world’s most outstanding period ensembles, The Lautten Compagney – a Baroque Ensemble from Berlin, founded by lutenists Wofgang Katschner and Hans-Werner Apel.
The first of two concert (see also Lautten Compagney: Timeless) Handel with Care presents music from operas and oratorios of Georg Fredrich Handel and Henry Purcell, including Handel’s Rinaldo and Amadigi and Purcell’s Fairy Queen and King Arthur.
