Eva Prowse plays two South Island dates this month to coincide with the release of her second single “Complacency” in support of her exceptional debut album “I Can’t Keep Secrets.”
What a perfect time for Prowse to take her disarming talents on the road, fresh from the sold out Fly My Pretties shows and a packed Wellington Summer Series show over the Summer.
On her first solo trip to the south, she will be playing two dates, 25th Feb at the Harbour Light in Lyttleton and 26th Feb at the Legendary Mussel Inn, Takaka. Tickets are available from the venues.
“Her songs offer a distinct geography of matters of the heart, with lyrics universal yet tangibly specific – a mark of great songwriting.”
Stephen Allely, Groove Guide.
“This is a debut with everything in place and all Prowse has to do is deliver, which she seems to do effortlessly in assured songwriting and vocals which sit in an area between alt.folk and gentle indie.pop-rock coloured by her evocative violin, some keening guitar work and mandolin, saw, piano. . .”
