Hitting the stage at Khuja for NZ Music Month are Knights of the DUB Table, Chur Bo and Four Tonne Fiasco, with KFm DJs Briggsy, 3040 and Big Music.
After successfully opening for Groundation on the NZ leg of their world tour, Knights are back in Auckland to entertain the masses yet again. These 6 lads combine elements of reggae, drum n bass, dubstep, hip hop and rock into their own fusion of dub-flavoured music, with powerful high-energy performances that leave crowds wanting more.
2010 was a fantastic year for the boys, as they embarked on a tour to support their Tronic EP. Knights also graced our television screens for an interview with I Am TV, and have appeared in various music magazines throughout the year. 2011 is shaping up to be one to remember, with the band working hard on their full length album, due out mid-year.
Chur Bo formed in 2009 in Waitakere City. The founder of the group is brother Jack Gilbert, who has performed in many bands such as Rootswest, Evidence, Steptoe and Sons, and now local legends Chur Bo.
Four Tonne Fiasco are a new 4-piece who meld elements of soul, reggae, funk and rock together to bring you a unique, fun sound that will have you up and dancing in minutes.
