Come kick off NZ Music Month with a night filled of soul, funk, reggae, dub, and electronica with The Rooftop Collective and Yebiisu.
After a brief hiatus of writing and recording, the eight piece of guitarists, horn players, keyboardists and drummers who make up The Rooftop Collective are back to warm your soul.
Since their formation in the Waitakere Ranges, Yebiisu has rapidly become known as one of Aucklands finest live reggae.../dub/funk/rock acts. The 7-piece outfit has recently released their debut self-titled EP and are about to head away on tour to the pristine South Island. Fresh from performances at Raggamuffin, Titirangi Festival of Music, and this years Kingsland Festival, this bunch of dub-hoppers should not be missed! Equipped with an epic set of fat stinky grooves and catchy hooks, and a visual show to trip your mind, Yebiisu are sure to get the party started!
We will also be farewelling TRC Saxophonist Olivia, who will be playing her last gig before she leaves for distant shores.
FREE entry, doors open at 9pm.
