May is New Zealand Music Month, so we have not one but TWO concerts, show-casing performers from the Wellington region.
The first is on Sunday May 1st, featuring:
*Peter Shaw and Neha Gate - folk and contemporary music on guitars and banjo.
*Fire Ponies - Originals and contemporary folk from a five member group formerly known as The Oystercatchers, on guitars, bass fiddle, mandolin and percussion.
*Baby Boomer Girl - Original songs from Radha Sahar and Bernard Wells.
*Uncharted Country - An intriguing new line-up of top-notch veterans, featuring Jill Brasell, Don Franks, Mary Livingston, Andrea Coop and Peter Dyer, with a leaning towards Country and Old Time.
The second showcase concert will be on Sunday 22 May.
