In 2010 his reputation as a DJ/Producer skyrocketed globally, and his unique style of Mid-Tempo Bass Heavy Breaks quickly became a force to be reckoned with after an impressive amount of Busta’s tracks were signed to and released on labels such as BombStrikes, Bombastic Jam, SwingSet Sounds & Pop n’ Lock Records. Future releases (early 2011) will see five more releases on five more labels, with the possibility of another three more to follow.
Calling Sydney Australia home, Busta has been refining his skills as a DJ/Producer over the last 10 years. A Bachelor Degree in Audio Production was to be the start of a promising career as a professional electronic artist in the spotlight, Busta had an impressive amount of tracks released on a slew of highly respected labels around the world. Busta is also now an official part of the GhettoFunk.co.uk crew.
Rapidly becoming known for his unique style of mid-tempo bass heavy breaks, Busta has been sort after from some highly acclaimed producers and artists such as Basement Freaks, Fuzzbox Inc, Jpod, BadboE, D*Funk, Omegaman, The Rootsellers & Marc Walton/Fretless.
His first original production “Take Control” which features the vocal stylings of Claire G (Pimpsoul) is set for release on Bombastic Jam early 2011. Remix credits have been snapped up by Jpod, Bryx & label head honcho Basement Freaks... Wowzers!!
2010 also saw Busta return back home to Australia following his first international tour of Western Canada. Over the course of two months he was booked as the solo headliner at the majority of events he played. He also shared headlining slots with artists such as Fort Knox Five, Mat The Alien, JRoc, Bryx, Wood n Soo, Vespers, SpillyGs (Neon Steve & Generic) at major music festivals, raves, and club nights across British Columbia and Alberta.
