The Jam Jar started off as a humble little indie night on Thursdays at the City Arms in Cardiff. Now its a bigger Saturday night affair (usually the first Saturday of the month) at Y Fuwch Goch and occasionally Clwb Ifor Bach on Womanby Street
We pride ourselves on playing a lot of things you wont hear anywhere else, generally shunning the overtly overplayed commercial stuff that youre already sick of (right') we play a lot of new, obscure or forgotten tracks and try to promote new bands as much as possible. Having said that youll still hear a lot of stuff you know, love and will want to dance to mixed in, were not monsters!
