Sean Kirkwood is a local Wellington musician with a distinctive sound of alt-country blues. Catch him at Meow before his North Island tour where he will play in Auckland with Jesse Sheehan and Emily Forbes before a grand performance at the Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival.
Seamus Johnson is one half of the bluesy rock band Paperscissors who have played with sold out, seminal hard rock band HELMET and award winning rock band The Checks.
Louis Baker’s “Three Ladies” was a finalist in the prestigious NZ ‘Play It Strange’ competition and was released on the Play It Strange Compilation album. His music is influenced by Soul, Funk, Folk, Blues and R & B. In 2008 Louis’ talent was identified again in 2008, winning the NZ national Primal Youth ‘Acoustic Sessions.’
Dallas McKinley has been known to frequent parties, friend’s gigs and pool halls and there has also been sightings of him hanging out with mannequins in the past. Now he has gone Han Solo and is ready to cause intrigue to innocent bystanders. Come hear his grunge ballads with a David-Lynch-like twist.
