To say a big THANKS to the Auckland massive, two of New Zealand's best underground acts will be sharing the stage on Saturday 23 July at The Kingslander. And it's FREE!
It will also be Yebiisu's last performance with Jared, their longstanding drummer. Come send him off in style!

About Eddie Numbers:
Quite possibly the best act you’ve never heard (yet); with his organic well crafted poetic verses, this 23 year old MC has been rapping in Auckland’s underground since high school.
With an honest streetwise approach when on the microphone, June 2010 saw the release of first EP 'Cracks In The Evening ‘, a refreshing original production that has received positive responses by listeners and showcases Eddie Numbers lyrical skill over well crafted beats.
Live, his 6-piece band put together an exciting, genre-crossing high energy show playing hip hop tracks and demonstrating freestyles about the day’s events, people in the crowd or whatever’s happening that night. This London born MC is currently working with some noted producers on a follow up to 'Cracks in The Evening’
So watch this space!!

About Yebiisu:
Formed in 2009 in West Auckland, Yebiisu rapidly came to be known as one of New Zealand's most promising and exciting new bands. Drawing fans from all around Aotearoa with a fine blend of tribal drums, majestic horns and fat stinky grooves, all led by powerfully silken vocals.
While they haven't been around long, their reputation as a powerful and enchanting live act has seen Yebiisu team up and share the stage with many other high-profile bands including Groundation (US), Streetlight Manifesto (US), Unity Pacific, Left or Right, Hikoikoi, Roofdog, Unknown Peace, Managers and Tenement Yard, as well as a prestigious slot on the lineup of international reggae festival Raggamuffin 2011.
In addition to live to air performances on Kiwi FM's ’31 Bands in a Box’, in 2010 and 2011, they have released a self-titled debut EP which features 4 tracks, ‘Take you Away’, ‘Piha’, ‘Snooze’ and the anthem ‘West Coast’. Mixed by Stu Bainbridge and mastered by Chris Chetland from Kog, the music reflects upon the lives, experiences and dreams of the band members and their 'home', the beautiful Waitakere Ranges of West Auckland.
Amongst the EP release and a number of high-profile live bookings, members of this groovy 8-piece band are also involved in other prolific Auckland-based outfits including Pavlova and the Jandals, Task One, Glasshouse Stoners, The Moisties and Farmer Pimp.
