Auckland steam-synth/space punk act Alex The Kid are celebrating the release of their new EP Zombies, Time Travel & Big City Living With an evening of post apocalyptic dance and music. Alex The Kid performing alongside Steampunk and Zombie styled DJs, who will be playing death defying & time traveling themed dance numbers. During the event, ATK will be filming a live-video for their upcoming EP, so come along dressed in your steampunk gear (think HG wells and the league of extraordinary gentlemen, for those new to the term) or as a zombie and be prepared for a little impromptu acting and adventure… (Michael Jackson's Thriller comes to mind, your dance moves don't have to be all stiff-limbed and slow).
