The second installment of Vic Unplugged is being held at The Victoria Theatre and Picture Palace on Wednesday 16th November from 7pm.
The night will again be hosted by Paul Ego, with Mike Chunn from the Play It Strange Trust also saying hi in support of young songwriting talent.
Annah Mac has just released her first album ‘Little Stranger’ on Sony Records. Much of Annah Mac’s new band hail from Devonport’s very own Electric Confectionnaires, and so will feel right at home at The Vic
The evening also highlights successful Auckland songwriters (and their bands) who made it on to the prestigious 2011 Play It Strange NZ songwriter’s CD.
The event will also showcase the winner of the Shore Talent Quest, run the week before run by Devonport Rotary and The VTT
Tickets to The Vic Unplugged 2 are $30 from www.iconiccinemas.co.nz. This includes a great evening of comedic banter with the irreverent Paul Ego, five up and coming NZ songwriters, and Annah Mac and her band at the top of the bill.
All proceeds will be donated to The Play It Strange Charitable Trust.
