A true troubadour, critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Julian Temple has been belting out his bipolar songs for the past decade, abusing his husky voice and venerated acoustic guitar along the way. Always the sucker for punishment, he has ended up on a whirlwind tour of three countries in three nights, weaving together tall tales and social commentary with a bluesy-funky-jazzy-country-love for sound. From his home in the Deep South of New Zealand, Temple will make his way north, over the ditch to Australia for a night in Sydney and on to his birth-place, California... all in three days! Playing material from the four albums under his belt and with support acts to die for, (Matt Langley and Michael Cathro in Dunedin, Tono in Auckland, Jesse Morris in Sydney and Levi Larkin in California) good times and air times are bound to be had by all... check out www.juliantempleband.com for details.

REVIEWS
Like the loudest blues band in the world whispering - Zeitgeist, U.K.
With an inquisitive eye and fantastic storytelling, the San Fran-Kiwi seizes vignettes of life and wrings the hell out of them. Julian Temple's right hand is the key, tenderly caressing his beloved acoustic one moment, dishing out a hiding the next - the perfect accompaniment to his often pained vocal interplay. Dunedin's finest musical import. - Otago Daily Times, NZ
Julian Temple has an organic sense of feel that could only come from an artist that has released three albums, and tirelessly toured the country for close to a decade. Uneven verse lengths, unconventional timings and strange song structures, but in a way that sounds natural and uncontrived – the unfathomable mathematics of the ocean. - Groove Guide, NZ
It sounds extraordinary. You can't predict the songs. In each moment something new. - Radio Heerde, Netherlands
A distinctive and original sound - an interesting step forward in music - KIX FM, Australia
Undeniably the combination works. Very interesting and highly listenable. - NZ Musician Magazine, N.Z.
What a sound! The musical interplay is truly excellent. - Highlands FM, Australia
Temple's howling blues & soul inspired vocals rip through the listeners with the type of pained singing and lyrics that come from a man who has walked his fair share of hard yards. - Dunedinmusic.com, NZ
