On the evening of Saturday the 12th of November, the Shark Club will play host to a night of music that defined a generation.
The Alternative 80s Tribute with Permanence and Primary (both Chch) will bring to life the music of Joy Division and The Cure, as the sounds of the 80s come to Nelson.
With free entry, Primary will be showcasing old favourites as created by the enigmatic and prolific pen of Robert Smith. Likewise, Permanence will be exploring the deep, powerful, and often misunderstood melodies of Ian Curtis, in this year that marks the 31st Anniversary of his untimely death.
So whoever you are, and whatever you are doing on the 12th of November, drop everything and make your way to the Shark Club, where you will be taken on a musical journey that explores the soul, through the highs and lows that make us all human.
Whether you want to dance, or simply explore the raw emotion that made The Cure and Joy Division so appealing to so many, the high energy and devoted performances from Primary and Permanence will make this a night to remember.
