Come along for an hour of Alice Steeles originals. Featuring ,Sosene Iosia on Keys, Chris Green like go guy Sutherland on Guitar, Reuben Stone on Bass and Kurt Fleming on Drums.
Their music is a mixture of groove, rock, reggae and pop/country. The Puffin Children is a brand new band; this is their debut gig, although Alice, Kurt and Reuben used to be in a band together called The Kritters.
Most of the songs Alice wrote in the last year. All the band members are students of the Christchurch Jazz school apart from Reuben Stone who is a graduate of Vision College.
THe Poplar Sessions jazz jam hosted by Darren Pickering will kick of after the Puffin Children so bring your instruments!
