MUZAI Records Presents..
GOD BOWS TO MATH's last show of 2012.
It has been a stellar year so far for GOD BOWS TO MATH, following up their debut album with a slew of positive reviews (from afar afield as China and France) and racking up a heap of shows, they toured the country with Shanghai's Pairs and played alongside a bunch of sweet Australian bands (Ouch My Face, DEAD). They've even managed to fit in a whirlwind tour of Australia to promote the release of their album across the Tasman (released by Sydney's Tenzenmen label).
The trio return home to play one last show before taking a much-needed break from the live circuit. Already this past year has seen them labelled a band at the top of their game (undertheradar.co.nz) and the most dangerous band making the rounds on the New Zealand tour circuit (Groove Guide)- it will be a show not to be missed.
Joining them for the night are two of their favourite bands that have sprung up over the last year; USED TO BE APES, an Auckland three-piece (featuring Huw Dainow from legendary Auckland post punk band Eight Living Legs), and Tauranga (by way of Auckland) two piece FLOGGING A DEAD ONE HORSE TOWN, whose minimalist noise rock is staunchly independent and unrelentingly heavy.
In case of existential angst, break glass.
