Dubclash is New Zealand's First national Dubstep DJ competition.
Taking in the full gamut of bass archipelagos, late this March, an elite list of emerging DJ's specialising in Dubstep, Dub, Grime, Two-Step, Garage, Wonky, Funky and beyond will gather at regional nightclub heats in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland.
On the night of each heat, the competing DJs will take part in a round by round process of elimination where they will be judged on audience response, tune selection and mixing by a panel of experts.
Two months later in May, The top two competitors from each heat will be flown to Wellington for the national finals, as held at Sandwiches. Again judged by a panel of experts on audience reaction, tune selection and mixing technique, as well as guaranteed bragging rights and a massively increased national profile, the ultimate winner will take away an impressive prize package
