Hand picked by Radiohead, a duet recorded with Sir Thom of Yorke himself, playing shows with Oasis, Green Day etc. Dianne Swann & Brett Adams also move & shake closer to home. From Tim Finn & Gin Wigmore through to folkie songstress Flip Grater... if the launch night of this brand spanking new live music venue required pedigree, The Bads are thorough & pure.
With a new album brewing, we're promised luscious alt/country with touches of Wilco, edgy & atmospheric in parts. We don't see The Bads enjoying a live stage often enough, a real rare treat in an amazing setting.
So too is it damn fine to see Lindon Puffin back in sail city, full band of Transgressions one and all on board sharing top billing on the best double line up Auckland has seen all year.
A busy man, breaking from touring with foot stomping Kiwi heroes The Eastern & cleaning up seemingly never ending liquefaction. LP will doubtless be rocking out the goods from his fresh, critically acclaimed album 'Hope Holiday' & whatever else floats the Puffin pleasure boat... with a full house, a full band, an electric atmosphere & LP's raconteur spirit, you'll be smiling while you're rocking... rock you will & no mistake...
