WITH GUESTS 1995 AND GEEGEE

The second part of the Dead Format trilogy, goth-pop duo-turned-alternative three piece CAT VENOM finally release the follow up to their 2010 7 with.... a cassette tape. Yes folks, they're building up to that long awaited CD.

Having become 95bFM favorites with their Top Ten hit (number 2 to be precise) Bones and performing as part of bStreet, Maeve, Zina and now Mark work towards their newer sound and fuller, enriched musical direction heading into the second part of 2012.

But of course, there's some of us, including ourselves, that want those old tracks as our own. And damn straight, we're going to have them - as the band release a four-track history lesson on cassette tape and for download.

Lovingly placed onto a strip of tape and caressed in a plastic case is their hit, Bones, and live favorites Sleepwalk To The Slaughter, Line to Spin and Morose. Of course they're live favorites - they've not been committed to any other format yet!

Along for the ride is spiritual brothers 1995, who we've spied on Twitter are recording a video for their single Love Your Ghost - they've playe in NYC don't you know! Long time Cat Venom fan GEEGEE will open up the evening at The Wine Cellar - just next door to where Cat Venom recorded said EP.

Cassette tapes will be for sale on the night (at $10 a pop), ahead of it's general release through MUZAI Online Paradise on the 21st, and digitally through most good networks.

See yous there!(')
