A New Zealand based Indian theatre group is preparing to perform an exciting play on love, passion and betrayal. The Terrace will be staged on October 12, 13 at 8.00pm and on Oct. 14 at 5.00pm.
The plot is complex and very sophisticated. Set in a party at the living room of the Vyas family, it travels in time to Calcutta at the terraced apartment of Kumar, a young man, seduced by his sister in law. He is madly in love, of a doomed kind. Tragedy and despair follow.
