Established in the early 90s, The Managers began as a ‘Two Tone’, British SKA covers band, quickly making its mark by introducing this infectious and upbeat sound to the Auckland music scene.
Now, almost two decades on, The Managers of today is a tight, powerhouse of eight highly talented, creative and experienced musicians, that has not only become an institution of New Zealand’s SKA scene, but has also diversified its musical gamut to include reggae, dub, roots and rock.
Well-loved for their energetic, lively and professional performances, The Managers has developed a strong and loyal following of fans across a variety of ages (some of whom have even adorned their bodies with Managers tattoos!).
Providing an impressive and extensive repertoire of well-known covers and popular original songs, The Managers give a show-stomping performance, seamlessly weaving from one musical genre to the next, providing a smooth roller-coaster ride of an evening.
