The search for musical expression utilizing electricity has gone on almost since the invention of electricity. The main electronic instrument used is the organ, whose facilities are capable of producing almost any combination of sounds within the range - and indeed, the credibility - of the human ear. The other instrument employed in this music endeavour is the drum – a primal instrument preceding man’s first speech. The Matinees offer you the opportunity to simultaneously realise future and past through their spontaneous sonic vibrations on the organ and drums.
