Gig Information

Hoop are pleased to present the first The Ministry of Folk session for 2019 – another cosy evening of music featuring some of Auckland's leading acoustic musicians.

Expect a magical night with this line up and as usual, it’s cabaret-style seating and BYO drinks.

Hoop will host with their poppy, folk melodies once again bolstered by Emily Allen on violin and Maxine Cunliffe on cello.

Martha Louise and the Backseat Drivers bring a little bit folk / country / blues and a big bit Americana with full on harmonies and driving lead breaks wrapped around Martha’s vocals. Ministry of Folk regular, Cam Bennett features on Dobro, Weissenborn guitar and vocals.

Louis Jarlov and the Lonesome are an Auckland-based three piece who play a driven blend of country an southern rock and have featured at the Gunslingers Ball.

Tickets are only $15 (children free) from www.undertheradar.co.nz
