Waitangi Day is also Bob Marley’s birthday so Waitakere Sounds 2009 is leading out with a free reggae/dub extravaganza at Henderson Park. The Rootswest Collective present a wicked assortment of West Auckland’s finest including Kiwi reggae queen Jules Issa. Raglan seven-piece Cornerstone Roots will bring their unique brand of conscious original reggae and roots, while Rhombus ‘n Dub is Wellington’s mighty Rhombus stripped down to a dynamic dub’n’bass outfit that will have you up and dancing.
