GIG GUIDE - Event Details

The Tutts

The Tutts

Sat Aug 8th, 2009

Doors open: 8:00 pm
Entry: R18

The Tutts burst onto the scene with synth-laced rock songs that made you dance in dark clubs where smoke poured through the crowd and strobe lights made the dancefloor appear as if a puppeteer above had gone mad. From the runaway success of first single 'K,' to the enchanting, tainted love story of 'I20' and the vampyric club anthem Whiteout'...The Tutts songs conjure images of debauchery, dark hallways, and a band steeped in nocturnal mystery.

Three years on, there is still no match for the mesmerising, dark, sonic power of The Tutts live show. Get In The Club and catch them on tour throughout July and August.

Hot Little Hands
Melbourne band Hot Little Hands - armed with two synthesizers and Wurlitzer - aren't just a reflection of the 80's revival scene. Insert 1950's electronic-voodoo-swamp-blues and 1960's garage disco. Enter some old soul, a touch of electro, four part harmonies and now you're getting the picture.
