Community Garden are super happy to welcome Berlin's very own Mechatok to Tāmaki Makaurau’s Whammy Bar.
Since playing classical guitar as a child, and taking up beat making on his family copy of Garageband at 14 years old, Timur Tokdimir has sheened up his own lil universe of shiny sonic gems; that pop with emotionality, universalist care and inquisitivity.
In a short series of years he has music’d with familial groupings like Staycore, Yegorka, Bala Club, Drain Gang and YEAR0001 - working with some faves like Toxe, Mobilegirl, Bladee, Ecco2k, Charli XCX and Yung Lean - as well as starting his own Natural Mind series in the past year.
As a DJ, his mixes are a fun delving into the cute networks that tie us together - overlapping heartbeats, with thoughtful euphoric moments abound. Just what we need rn fr.
Mechatok will be joined by normitanga nobility Ngāsti and Related Articles’ head-banger/head-honcho Sequentia.
