The 7th Alien Nation could be the biggest yet, with three nights and four days of mind-melting trance at the Wairoa Gorge near Nelson from 1st – 4th February 2008.

Alien Nation ‘08 promises to be "a mind-blowing sensory overload of epic proportions with a stunning location, hallucinatory visuals and a DJ line-up to die for," says organiser Warwick Harrington. Headlining are Danish acts Tribalistic Society, playing some twisted progressive trance and Bufo a live act of progressive and experimental trance. Also topping the bill is Australia’s Tetrameth whose debut album Psychological Pyrotechnics is an extremely original blend of morning/ progressive trance and put him on a world class level for producing psy trance.

Other international acts include Frenetic (Brazil); Hallucinelve (Belgium); Shazi (Sweden); Shive (Switzerland) and Wodger Want (Australia). Also on the line up are Alien Nation’s own Axiom, live acts Cusp; Flaxnation; Invader Tron; Order-3 and Psyzac as well as some key artists returning from last year including Beniot, C.O.S.M. (Certified Organic Sound Machine); Cobba; Dawnbeaver; Delicious; Filthy Tomo; Fungus; Illusion; Miss Molly; Oscar the Grouch and Sir Trancealot. A full line up and further information can be found at
