Sig Wilder & Friends are excited to announce the release of Warm at San Fran with support from Tessa de Lyon and Frances Grass. Warm is the electric new single from Wellington’s alt-country storytellers recorded and mixed with local producer Toby Lloyd. Warm out via Home Alone records on January 30th.

Sig Wilder & Friends blend kiwi authenticity with American grit, weaving the essence of Americana into the fabric of Aotearoa’s musical landscape. The band is a D.I.Y. collective currently featuring Mads Taylor (drums/vocals), Tessa Dillon (bass/vocals), Sofia Machray (guitar/vocals) and Sig on lead vocals/guitar. Since forming, they’ve become a familiar fixture in Wellington’s independent music scene, toured around Aotearoa, and won media acclaim from The Post, Ensemble Magazine, Under The Radar, and Radio Active 88.6 FM. As Sig knows, personal growth is a long and winding road. “This project is about becoming content with who I am,” he says. “That’s how it started, and I am in no way finished on that journey.” Sig Wilder & Friends are Aotearoa’s alt-country storytellers.
Tessa de Lyon:
Tessa de Lyon is the solo project from the lead singer of Mystery Waitress, although this time she will be accompanied by various folk musicians to showcase some new country-esque songs on the guitar as well as some beloved piano songs from her album, ‘Tessa’s Album’. Themes of the music include; ducks, nice walks in nature, and magical powers.
Frances Grass:
Aotearoa born Frances Grass is an alternative dream folk guitarist & singer/songwriter. Largely inspired by 60’s folk artists like Donovan, Nick Drake and Bert Jansch. She offers up playful, distinctive fingerstyle guitar, unique melodies and heartache inducing lyricism.
