Gig Information

ALLPRESS OLIVE GROVES hosts the Fullers360 GOOD FRIDAY GROOVE.

Dual headliners Mark Williams and Deva Mahal represent two distinct eras in the history of NZ music. Mark recorded the very first NZ number 1 single “Yesterday was just the beginning of my life” in the ‘70’s, then went on to a stellar career in Australia, fronting legendary band DRAGON for the last 20 years. Deva’s musical heritage is undeniable – daughter of US Blues icon Taj Mahal, Deva was born and raised in Hawaii and while a star on the rise in this country, she has a string of international accolades and awards. Joining them on the bill are NZ rock legends the NARCS performing with the star of “When the Cat's Away” fame Kim Willoughby on vocals. Make no mistake this is one of the most diverse and exciting lineups ever to play the Fullers360 Good Friday Groove! Also on the bill are the youthful and enormously funky “Big Tasty” as well as one of the country's finest Big Bands, the WBB Big Band, who take us through the Aretha Franklin songbook, to Van Morrison, Parliament and beyond!

The Venue
Formerly Rangihoua Estate, the facility has been completely transformed and ALLPRESS OLIVE GROVES is a world-class hospitality, retail, events and accommodation precinct, committed to investing in Waiheke Island as a world-class olive oil producer and destination. Its natural amphitheatre in the heart of Waiheke Island is a stunning outdoor venue.

A massive stretch tent provides cover in the wet or the blistering sun and the fully licensed Bars and Bistros serve a range of food and beverages.

Transport
Catch the Fullers360 ferry from downtown Auckland. The local scheduled bus stops right outside, OR purchase the Fullers360 Ferry and Bus Pass

What to expect
Superb music, great wine and beverages, fantastic food. Bring a picnic blanket or a foldaway chair.
Fully licensed. No dogs.

Transport and parking
We recommend concert-goers purchase the Fullers ferry and bus pass, or if you’re local, there is limited parking on site and in the vicinity. The scheduled bus service stops right outside. Leave your car at home.
