SUNDAY 1 MARCH 2026 AT THE PLYMOUTH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL
This four piece band contains some of Wellington’s finest and well known jazz/blues artists. It is made up of the very talented and versatile - Mat Enright on vocals, guitar and trumpet, Nick Granville on guitar, Robert Henderson on double-bass and Blair Latham playing saxophone and clarinet.
The repertoire includes a mixture of blues, swing, jazz, ragtime and piedmont blues (a style of acoustic guitar music that originated in the Piedmont Region in South-Eastern USA in the 1920’s to 1940’s). Their inspiration comes from some of the most legendary early jazz and blues’ composers and musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Fats Domino, Henry Creamer and Kid Ory.
