Halfsister formed in January 2022 when Greta, at a loose end over the summer break, composed 10 songs on her work laptop using the free software Garage Band using a guitar and the two chords she knew at that point. Previously she had been a drummer in The Blue Marbles - formed in Auckland in 1989 & enjoyed a solid fan base, Gluepot gigs, BFM favs, and a University Orientation tour.
