In the classic tradition of the DJ battle Friday at Kemuri brings Substax Versus Timmy Schumacher. The pair have a long history of collabratinng on production and playing shows together throughout NZ. They are responsible for cult classic releases Interstate Pimp, Teleporter Trouble and the B-Net nominated remix of Dub Asylum’s Scratch n’ Sniff.
Substax are celebrating the release of their new EP Jumpa and will be dropping tracks that represent the fusionary focus of Substax from deep house to garage, from rare groove to electro soul.
Timmy Schumacher needs no introduction as one NZ’s greatest DJ’s having played at most of the best clubs throughout NZ, in Australia, major festivals and international support slots including The Chemical Brothers. This will be a unique set moving through the gammut of Tim’s extensive vinyl collection from downbeat to cranking.
