SUNDAY 3 MAY AT THE PLYMOUTH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL AT 4.30PM
Wellington School of Music Big Band comprises 23 of the Music School’s top young jazz musicians who will be conducted by NZ School of Music Tutor Seth Boy. Seth is an accomplished bass Player, composer and Band Leader who will be standing in for the band’s Musical Director Daniel Hayles who is expected to be in attendance.
They will play a broad selection of styles including well-known classics from many different band eras, arrangements and interpretations of music from outside the jazz world, new compositions of lesser-known composers as well as compositions and arrangements of Daniel Hayles and from within the band.
There will be something for everyone.
Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start.
