Due to an unexpected medical issue this week, Christopher Tubbs has unfortunately had to step away from this Saturday’s ON&ON on doctor’s advice and take a short period of rest and recovery.
Stepping in at short notice is none other than the maestro Nathan Haines @nathan.haines, joining special guest Zen — who many of you will know as one of the tastemakers behind The Jewel School, the beloved Saturday night show on Radio Active that has become an institution over its 25-year reign (he’s also the Music Programmer at RNZ, but that’s another story).
Nathan is one of Aotearoa’s great musical forces and an exceptional DJ to boot. Many of you will remember the last time he played ON&ON… it was one of the very best.
As most regular ON&ON party people know, this daytime get-together sells out in the shake of a lamb’s tail, so don’t hang about. Join us in the beautiful botanical courtyard at Cuba St Tavern for a day into night session of Balearic burners, deep disco, classic house inspiration and post-punk detonations.'
