FRANK TALBOT QUARTET
PRESENTED BY TARANAKI JAZZ CLUB ON SUNDAY 7 JUNE AT 4.30PM AT THE PLYMOUTH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL
Virtuoso Wellington saxophonist Frank Talbot returns to us on Sunday 7 June with new band members Miles Boermans on piano, Wil Goodinson playing double bass and George Brajkovich on drums.
They’ll be playing a selection of hard swinging energetic and virtuoso jazz pulling from the bebop and hardbop eras predominantly. Featuring the music of Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Bud Powell, Dizzy Gillespie and more. We will also get a chance to hear some of Frank Talbot’s compositions.
Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start.
