Meet the band:
Benjamin J. Shepherd is a New Zealand-born bassist known for his work across jazz, soul, funk, and contemporary music. A graduate of CalArts in Los Angeles, he has performed and recorded with artists including Chance the Rapper, Mike Stern, Patrice Rushen, Lee Ritenour, and David Archuleta. Known for his deep groove and versatility, Benjamin continues to perform internationally while inspiring musicians through his teaching and creative work.
Elijah Whyte is an Auckland-based drummer known for his dynamic style across jazz, soul, funk, and contemporary music. A highly respected session musician, he has performed with artists and groups including Foley, Joe Kaptein, Kings and a range of leading Auckland jazz and live acts, earning a reputation for his versatility, groove, and energetic live performances.
Adrian Brown is an Auckland-based guitarist, composer, and educator known for his work across jazz, fusion, funk, and contemporary music. A graduate of the University of Auckland in Jazz Performance, he has performed with groups including The Hipstamatics, Keshia, Thabani Gapara, AACACIA, Imani-J and the Auckland Jazz Orchestra, building a reputation for his expressive playing and dynamic live performances.
Eli Wilson is an Auckland-based keyboardist known for his soulful playing across reggae, R&B, jazz, and contemporary music. He has performed with NZ acts including Corrella, Sam V, Romi Wrights, Thabani and is recognised for his versatility, musical feel, and energetic live performances.
