Gig Information

Following the release of their recent single, “I Do Mine”, Debt Club announce their first Aotearoa nationwide tour. The tour will celebrate the release of their debut album “Foothold” which is out August 12th & available for vinyl pre-order now!

Debt Club are a Pōneke based indie / folk rock six piece who blend jangling indie rock, folk, alt-country and emo into a sound defined by rich arrangements, soaring saxophone melodies, and emotionally direct songwriting. Since forming in 2023, the band has quickly become a notable presence in Aotearoa’s underground music scene through their dynamic live performances and textured, heartfelt songs. Debt Club have shared stages with Marlin's Dreaming, Phoebe Rings and Australia’s Floodlights, while appearing at festivals including Rhythm and Vines, Twisted Frequency, CubaDupa and Newtown Festival. Following the release of their debut EP, “Taste For Stout,” the band recently unveiled “I Do Mine,” the first single from their forthcoming debut album “Foothold,” due out on August 12th.

Joining Debt Club for the Wellington date is First Reserve & Dillon Jo!

First Reserve is inevitable. Before adopting the moniker in 2023, Ryan Connaghan had been prolifically writing music that communicated their experiences in life, love, and loneliness. These themes are all approached on songs like “Last One” and “Me & My Friends” – the first offerings from First Reserve’s debut EP “There’s A God” set for release on November 14th, 2025. Thanks to their exhilarating live performances joined by a four-piece band, First Reserve has amassed a cult of devoted supporters both in their hometown of Te Whanganui-a-Tara and beyond. On stage, their sound is both intimate and larger-than-life, combining influences from alt-rock, indie-folk, and pop. First Reserve has supported visiting internationals Hot Mulligan (US) and Keli Holiday (AUS), and have toured with Kiwi favourites PARK RD, There’s A Tuesday, and Wet Denim.

Te Whanganui-a-Tara’s staple, Dillon Jo, is a queer, female-fronted four-piece band formed at Massey University in Wellington. Describing their sound as “Dreamy Droppy Rock Pop,”. ‘Dillon Jo’ is the project of Wellington Based artists Betty Smith and Georgie Levien, building paths between the elements of dream pop, shoegaze, folk, alt rock, and indie pop to create their genre defying sound. They have discovered vibrant chemistry over the past few months since making quite a stir in Wellington, playing numerous shows including opening for The Rions, Foley, Wet Denim, Hemi Hemingway and Coast Arcade only to name a few. Having heard of each other through the Reality music TV show Take The Mic 2022 which they were both contestants on, they formed Dillon Jo in early 2025. Releasing their first acoustic single ‘It was you (she’s been waiting for)’ in April 2025 and releasing two more singles later in the year, including ‘Shiver’ and ‘Jo’. The band also consists of Kahu Sanson-Burnett, (a multi-talented musician, producer, and previous member of Parallel Park) and Ruadh Munro, (Drums and previous member of Scarlett crush) Dillon Jo has transformed their live sets into an unbridled big-sound shoegaze experience
