Disrupt - founder and boss of Leipzig-based label, Jahtari
Naram - co-founder and riddim composer behind Aotearoa's premier rub-a-dub label Red Robin records .
The clash of the two digital reggae titans is coming to Aotearoa for two shows!
Since 2003 Disrupt has been a trailblazer for the DIY 8 bit sound of Jahtari - and anyone who follows the evolution of 21st century reggae will be familiar with impact of this sound from the east Germany city of Leipzig.
Disrupt has helped bring back artists like Speng Bond, Mikey Murka, and Tikiman as well as playing a key role in busting modern artists like Pupajim, Solo Banton, Tapes, Kiki Hitomi - not to mention Naram himself!
Jahtari was also a catalyst for the birth of both Colonel Mustard and Red Robin Records - helping distribute their early records and find acclaim in the international market.
So the crew from Aotearoa have decided to bring him back for a pair of killer shows in Auckland and Whanganui.
Both Disrupt and Naram will play live dub sets in their own unique styles, amplified on the champion Reggae Rodeo sound system.
