Auckland pop-soul artist and singer-songwriter Henri Woodley takes the stage at Ponsonby Social Club for a special headline on Friday 30 October.
After releasing his debut single Fade in 2024, Henri has continued to develop his sound through a blend of soulful vocals, expressive songwriting and vibrant pop production. His 2025 single Reach for the Sky marked a more energetic step in his sound, while his latest release, All I Know featuring Kwyze, sees him leaning further into a soulful and emotionally expressive direction.
For this special live show, Henri along with his band will perform his original music alongside a variety of covers, bringing together the songs that have shaped his journey as a developing artist and performer.
Opening the night is alternative folk and pop artist Alias. A self-produced singer-songwriter, Alias creates honest and personal music that blends the warmth of folk with the feel of modern pop. For this performance, Alias will be joined by his partner and fellow musician Alexandra. Having written and performed together extensively, the pair bring a natural chemistry and intimate energy to Alias' music.
With live performances from both artists, the night will showcase two emerging Auckland acts bringing their own take on songwriting, pop and soulful sounds to the Ponsonby stage.
