TOURIST ANNOUNCE SINGLE RELEASE TOUR & WHAMMY BAR SHOW

Aotearoa rock band Tourist are back with a new single and a new chapter, announcing their Single Release Tour, including a headline show at Whammy Bar, Auckland, on Thursday 29 October. The band will celebrate the release of their new single “My Everywhere” with a powerful live set showcasing their distinctive blend of cinematic rock, soaring guitars and anthemic songwriting.

Tourist have a history that reaches well beyond the New Zealand scene. Originally formed in Aotearoa in the early 2000s, the band have toured extensively in New Zealand and internationally, including the UK, and have shared the stage with major international acts including Snow Patrol (UK). Their songwriting has also attracted international recognition, with Tourist becoming finalists in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) and securing US publishing. Alongside local and international radio chart success (#1 95bFM) and a strong reputation as a live act, the return of Tourist marks an exciting new era for a band with unfinished business. “My Everywhere” is the first taste of that next chapter.
