Naquadah emerged on the Auckland underground rock scene in 2002 eager to break the mold of stock standard rock by offering a darker melodic ambient style. Combined with an enthralling live performance, Naquadah have built a solid and loyal fan base over the past decade. With the recent re-addition of the bands keyboardist, the band has returned to the ambient, dark-edged sound which gained them their initial recognition.
With influences spanning generations and various genres, Naquadah have defined their own unique sound. These influences, drawn from Rock, Metal, Alternative, Industrial and Goth, have helped the band’s sound to evolve into their own distinctive blend of “Dark Rock”.
Now encompassing a powerful rhythm section, diverse bass lines, haunting keys, lead guitar mastery and fronted by a stage-owning vocal powerhouse, Naquadah will capture the attention of many music fans, and always leaving you wanting more!
