Wellingtons nautically inspired dream-folk duo French for Rabbits, and the Raglan based Little Lapin are teaming up to hold an intimate concert at the Wine Cellar in Auckland on Friday August 31st.
As well as sharing similar names, both bands live by the ocean (Island Bay & Raglan respectively)- really a perfect match!
French for Rabbits released their debut EP ‘Claimed by the Sea’ in March 2012, receiving praise in the blogosphere, and recently beginning to gain a little airplay in the UK. Their soft dream-folk is sure to enchant and leave enchanted it’s listeners.
Little Lapin is the solo project of Plymouth-born, Raglan based singer-songwriter Lucy Cioffi. Her debut single ‘Silent Tears’ is being released on 21st August, and she is currently in the process of recording an album due out at the end of the year with Ben King. The Wine Cellar will see Lucy performing a solo set.
