About The-Dirty
Their sound has memorably been described by New Zealand Musician Magazine as being akin to ‘The Munsters at an Acca Dacca convention’. Now, The Dirty Sweets return, once again flying the bogan flag boldly with a new self-titled EP that’s destined to rock you like a hurricane.

Filth Dog

Straight out of Henderson Valley, Filth Dog is a raw melting pot of hard driving Rock & Roll, dirty grooves and slow burnin' blues that will set your bar room on fire and get your mojo working.

Filth Dog was formed in 2009 when high school mates Jack Richardson and Matt Ryan (Previously in Wizardsleeve and the band Black Fa**ot which was started by an ex member of 8 foot sativa) first started jamming and writing songs. After trying out numerous drummers, Troy Robertson was recruited and initiated into the band. Jonas Drewling (Happy Violence/ The Jam Sessioners) joined on bass, completing the band and seeing them dive head first into the Auckland Circuit. They then went on to record The Doghouse Demos, a demo EP of the bands early music, which was recorded with the help of audio engineer and friend of the band Brad Bishara in The Doghouse (The factory in Henderson where they live.)

In 2011 Jonas left the band due to pressures and commitments to other bands. This saw the initiation of Brad Bishara into Filth Dog to take over on bass, bringing the band to it's current line up and discovering their new sound.

These Automatic Changers
https://www.facebook.com/theseautomaticchangers'fref=pb
The high intensity charge of classic sonic blues, leaden rock’n’roll, spooked by an altogether more archaic blend of 70's soul.

Since the release of their eponymous self titled E.P., These Automatic Changers have built their reputation as the new heavyweight champions of the kind of rock n roll sorely absent in current public consciousness.

A live act , (as all the greatest bands have been), they have continued to out power any act in a growing lexicon of peerless performances . Gigging relentlessly to deliver a classic stage show, and ensure that tracks like the undiminished grasp of progressive blues How Many Times or the unfettered roar and soul strut of Out on a Wire cement the bands popular raunchier rhythmic pitch amongst it's followers.

This inspired assessment from one fan:These sons of hercules would roundhouse your multiplex and all its contents, and that's just for hors doevres mes petit chickadees. Bear witness to the audio equivalent of Galvatron and Megatron fighting naked in a barn ...
