Billabong New Zealand present The Growlers.
Californian rock bros, The Growlers have confirmed their first ever visit to New Zealand. Coming hot off the back of an Australian tour they’ve locked in a single-stop show at The Kings Arms Tavern on the 13th March. The 5-piece hailing from Costa Mesa, California is known for their trademark style that somehow combines country, surf, pop and rock, in particular the sound of Californian rock of the late 60s’.
The band released their Gilded Pleasures EP in Australasia through Smack Face Records late last year, a release that had critics all over the world telling people to pay attention to the group. It makes sense that New Zealand would be a part of their immediate touring plans and they’ll provide a great end-of-summer soundtrack for us all.
Fellow Californians, Tomorrow’s Tulips will be joining The Growlers as their official opening act alongside Auckland’s Arthur Ahbez & Superbird.
