Wellington, hello!
Soon 'French for Rabbits' are heading overseas for our second European tour. We would dearly love to see friends, fans, and foes alike before we go, so we are returning to Wellington to play a show at The Moorings. Its wooden floored ballroom, with its peeling wallpaper and dusty collection of sea-inspired artwork, seem to us like the perfect accompanying scene to our quiet, sleepy, salty old songs.
It is no easy feat to organise and raise funds for a European tour so if you cared to come along to listen, we will pull out all the stops to make it a show to remember. We will be joined by our band (who came on tour with us in January) and will be performing old material from our ‘Claimed by the Sea’ EP, new songs from our upcoming album ‘Spirits’ and songs that are so new they won’t be on any record for a while to come!
We will be joined by one of the dreamiest bands from Wellington, Glass Vaults, variously described as stargazers, ambient explorers, and ethereal pop soundscapers. They have been creating some of the most beautiful music around.

Early show at 7.30pm, first band on at 8pm sharp.
The Moorings is a private residency so please come and leave quietly.
